    Q. Can I win or lose real money by playing ibibo Money Game?
    Ans. No. This game is based on virtual money, which can't be converted to real money.
    Q. Which stock exchange is the game based upon?
    Ans. The game is currently based on Bombay Stock Exchange.
    Q. On what basis do the stock prices in the game change?
    Ans. Stock prices are synchronized with the actual stock prices on Bombay Stock Exchange. So as the prices change in real stock market they change in the game too. Please note there is a delay of up to 15 minutes between the updation of stock prices on Bombay Stock Exchange and those in this game.
    Q. I just bought/sold a stock, why isn't my portfolio updated?
    Ans. It could take up to 15 minutes for the portfolio to get updated. You can check all your placed orders in the Order History.
    Q. I have made significant losses, how do I make a comeback in the game?
    Ans. You can use the option of resetting the portfolio. Please note that by resetting your portfolio, your net worth would become Rs 10 lacs. Also all the stocks in your portfolio and your order transaction history would get deleted. Your stock watchlist and list of followers (as well as people you are following) would remain.
    Q. Why should I follow someone?
    Ans. Well there are some players who have good understanding of stock market and they perform really well in the game. So, you might want to check what stocks they are buying, selling or are interested in! By following someone you can track the moves made by that user, which could be a good source of learning.
    Q. What is the difference between Net worth and % Return?
    Ans. Net worth at a given point of time is sum of market value of all the stocks in your portfolio and the cash in hand that you have.

    % Return for an interval is the (Gain in Net Worth in that interval) * 100/ (Value of Net worth in the beginning of the interval)
    Q. What is a Stock Watchlist?
    Ans. Stock watchlist is an easy way of tracking the stocks that you are interested in. Just go to the stock detail page of the stock that you are interested in, and add the stock to the watchlist. The stock would then feature in your watchlist.
    Q. What is a Leaderboard? How do I get featured on a leaderboard?
    Ans. Leaderboard features the players who are performing really well in the game.
    There are two criteria on which the Leaderboards lists are generated - Net Gain and % Returns.
    Net Gain leaderboard is basis the total gain by a user in a particular period. % Return leaderboard is basis % Return on Net Worth during that particular period.
    Today's - Features the users who have performed best in the current day.
    Last Day's leaderboard – Features users who performed best on the last trading day.
    Last 7 Day's leaderboard take last 7 days in account
    Last 30 Day's leaderboard take last 30 days in account
    All Time Leaderboard is based on the Overall networth of the users
    The Leaderboards, excpet Today's Leaderboard, gets updated at midnight everyday

    For you to appear in any of the leaderboards, you should have done atleast one transaction in the stipulated period. E.g. for Yesterday's leaderboard, you should have done a minimum of one transaction yesterday.
    Q. Is there a particular time interval during which I can buy/sell stocks?
    Ans. You can buy or sell stocks between 10 am and 4:00 pm on all the week days.
    You can't transact stocks on Saturday and Sunday
    Q. Where can I see all my recent transactions?
    Ans. Your transaction would reflect in your order transaction history. Please note that your order transaction history just displays the recent (and not all) the transactions.
    Q. I gave an order to buy stocks, why did it get cancelled?
    Ans. If the cash required for the order to be executed is more than the cash available with you, the transaction would result in cash overflow.
    Q. Is there a limit on the number of transactions that I can do everyday?
    Ans. No, right now there is no such limit
    Q. I have just registered for the game, how much money do I get for buying stocks?
    Ans. You get an initial virtual money of Rs 10 lakh for buying stocks. Please note this is just virtual money and is in no manner related to real money
    Q. What is Short Sell?
    Ans. If you sell a stock without owning it in the first place, it is called short sell. Here you make profit if the stock price falls down. So if you feel a stock’s price will decrease, it will be a good idea to short sell it. Remember you will have to buy the short sold stocks before market closing or your stocks will be sold at the price prevailing at the time of close of markets.
    Q. Where do I get money for Short Sell?
    Ans. An extra cash reserve of Rs. 10 Lakhs for your transactions pertaining to Short Selling is provided separately. This is used for calculating your overall networth.
    Q. What are commissions on every transaction?
    Ans. In the real stock market, the stock brokers charge a small fee for processing the transaction. To offer you a realistic experience and help you learn better ibibo Money Game also deducts a small commission of 0.2% on all buy and sell transactions.
