Q. What is ibibo CricEX?
Ans. ibibo CricEx is a virtual trading game where you buy and sell shares of your favourite cricket players instead of shares of companies. You can create your portfolio of cricket players and if the players selected by you perform well, you can feature on the leader board.
Q. What is the objective of CricEX?
Ans. The aim of the game is to increase your net worth and profit by buying and selling shares of cricket players.
Q. How do I buy and sell?
Ans. Just search for the cricket player you think would do well, and click on buy. To sell, go to your portfolio and choose the player you'd like to sell.
Q. How many players do I need to buy?
Ans. You can buy as many players as you wish, but the total value of the shares you buy for each of the players cannot exceed your cash in hand. Like the stock market its up to you to invest in shares of many players or of just one player. Unlike cricket, there is no restriction of 11 players.
Q. What causes the share price of players to increase and decrease?
Ans. The player's performance in the match currently live determines the change in price. A player performing well will cause the share price to move upwards and bad performance will cause the price to decrease. E.g. if a batsmen hits the bowler for a 6, the batsman's price would rise and the bowler's price would decrease.
Q. What all events cause the player price to change?
Ans. Prices change for almost every event on the field. The prices change will happen proportionately for an experienced player and a debutant who players exceedingly well in their first match.
Q. When can I buy and sell the players?
Ans. You can buy and sell players anytime you wish to, but the player's price will change only when the player is playing in a match and is a part of an event.
Q. When do the prices change?
Ans. The price changes at the end of every over.
Q. Can I win or lose real money by playing ibibo CricEX?
Ans. No. This game is based on virtual money, which can't be converted to real money.
Q. I gave an order to buy players, why did it get cancelled?
Ans. If the cash required for the order to be executed is more than the cash available with you, the transaction would result in cash overflow.
Q. I have made significant losses, how do I make a comeback in the game?
Ans. You can use the option of resetting the portfolio. Please note that by resetting your portfolio, your net worth would become Rs 10 lacs. Also all the players in your portfolio and your order transaction history would get deleted. Your watchlist and list of followers (as well as people you are following) would remain.
Q. What is a Leaderboard? How do I get featured on a leaderboard?
Ans. Leaderboard features the players who are performing really well in the game. The leaderboard is based on the Overall networth of all users in the game.
Q. Is there a particular time interval during which I can buy/sell players?
Ans. You can buy or sell players stocks anytime. But the rates of the players would change only when a match is live.
Q. Where can I see all my recent transactions?
Ans. Your transaction would reflect in your order transaction history. Please note that your order transaction history just displays the recent (and not all) the transactions.
Q. Is there a limit on the number of transactions that I can do everyday?
Ans. No, right now there is no such limit.
Q. I have just registered for the game, how much money do I get for buying players?
Ans. You get an initial virtual money of Rs 10 lakh for buying stocks of players. Please note this is just virtual money and is in no manner related to real money.
